Thomas J. Saboy of Howell NJ has been selected as one of the bat boys for the 2010 Lakewood Blue Claws Team. Lakewood is a minor League affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Thomas is the grandson of Thomas R. Saboy, a good friend of the Philadelphia Athletics and Eddie Joost.

The A’s Society would like to extend our appreciation to Phillies VP Larry Shenk and others in their organization that made this appointment happen. Thomas’s grandfather, Thomas Sr has been one of the driving forces & biggest supporters behind the success’s of the Society since 1993, three years before we were officially founded.in 1996.
