JACK LITTRELL PASSES AWAY AT 80

Shortly after Rusty Seitz reported the death of Bob Dillinger, Lou Parrotta was kind enought to pass on the news of the June passing of Jack Littrell at the age of 80, one of the younger Philadelphia A's players leaving only 50 former players. When the Society began, there were 138, Jack Littrell was an infielder, primarily at shortstop for the A's in both Philadelphia and Kansas City and the Chicago Cubs. Known for his glove rather than his bat, it is ironic that one of hi favorite memories was hitting four home runs in a row in the minors. He had a 15 year pro career.

We were sorry he never attended a reunion. He resided in his Louisville KY home until he died at his daughter's home.

We pray that he is granted eternal peace.
