Former M.L. Pitchers Visit Society's Museum

Thursday July 31 was a special day in the Society's Museum when 2 members Pat Ramone & Stanley Bradley brought in two former Major League pitchers. Shown in this photo left to right Society member Stanley Bradley, Pat Ramone, George Estock, Bobby Shantz. Ramone & Bradley are part of the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame located at the Wilmington Blue Rocks Ball Park in Wilmington Delaware. Former Boston Braves hurler (1951) George Estock & A's favorite Bobby Shantz enjoyed discussing baseball & pitching during their careers. Neither one could understand the need for "PITCH COUNTS" in today's games as opposed to when they were on the mound.
