Phillies Ball Girls Send Greetings
to the Society
Phillies Ball Girls Autographed baseball cards are on display
in the Society's Museum:
A's Society volunteer Michael Fesnak has developed a nice relationship
with the Phillies Ball Girls that began at the start of the season.
Fesnak mailed each a card to sign and the result is this very unique
display in the Museum that draws all kinds of nice comments from
our visitors. The following letter was directed to Fesnak from the
ball Girls:
Dear Michael,
I would like to start off by saying "THANK YOU" so much
for the nice letter you wrote to us. It is not often that the ball
girls get fan mail and when we do it really does mean a lot to us.
We love signing cards for our fans and are so happy you liked them.
We loved the poster you made on us, "very cute". We are
honored to sign this photo and look forward to stopping by your
Museum to see everything! I've attached two cards of ball girls
you might not have. I will send more team packs as soon as I can
get them together. Again, thank you, you are so sweet.(signed Christy
Gordon)
Mike is hopeful that the Phillies Ball Girls can join us at our
October event.
