Artist Ted Walker’s 8 x 10 Pen
& Ink Prints #1-91
Ted Walker was inspired to become an artist because of his
desire to design a drawing of his famous grandfather Tom
Walker. The elder Walker, born August 1, 1878 began his
major league career with Connie Mack’s Philadelphia
Athletics one year after the franchise was awarded to Mr.
Mack & his partners. During Walker’s brief career
that also included 1904 & 1905 with the Cincinnati Reds
he posted a winning won lost record of 24 wins against 16
losses and a very impressive 2.70 ERA, by today’s
standards he would be near the top of the list. These one
of a kind 8 x 10 pen & ink drawings are being made available
through the Society’s Gift Shoppe in black & white
for numbers 1-78 @$6.00 each & numbers 79-91 in color
@ $8.00 each.

Color Photo: Ted Walker, noted
local Pa artist & A's Society member.
Drawing: Item # 73 in the Walker
collection.
